The conventional flow boom has a unique internal swivel to allow the delivery of 2 different fluids simultaneously. This design eliminates the use of multiple hoses to deliver the fluid to the boom, greatly reducing the cost of the hoses and the costly environmental damages and safety issues.

For our standard flow boom design, we are able to deliver simultaneously up to 156 cubic meters an hour. The boom is fitted with a 2 Ton winch for hose handling. The system have the following specifications:

  • Boom Length: 24M
  • Min. working radius: 7.5M
  • Reach at 15 degree elevation: 23.5M
  • Reach at 70 degree elevation: 12M
  • Height jib end to deck (70 degree): 25.2M
  • Max elevation: 75 degree
  • Slewing section: 360 degree

The LNG bunkering boom design, takes into consideration the safety requirements of handling cryogenic fluids. Pipes and hoses are designed such that pressure drop is reduced, which minimizes the possibilities of heating up LNG. This minimizes issues with LNG entering the tank of the receiving vessel. The boom may be fitted with vapor return system where required.

LNG bunkering boom is also designed in consideration of cryogenic fuel leakage, hence necessary precautions are taken to prevent damaging the booms or the deck of the vessels.
