Shark Jaw/Towing Pins (Not in use)
Shark Jaw/Towing Pins are an integral part of both towing and anchor-handling functions.
Towing Pins serve to constrain the work wire / tow tire, allowing the shark jaw to grap the wire easily.
The Shark Jaw serves to hold the external load of the wire, allowing the crew to safely disconnect/connect different lengths of ropes during towing and anchor-handling operations.
Our system are designed for vessels up to 350T BP for safe handling. At the same-time, they are uniquely fitted with an emergency release system, allowing the jaws to lower safely.
